Last time I mowed, ended up with a lot of dead grass a few days later (60 inch Kubota). I figure I over-greased the spindles (did what the service dept advises though) or maybe a fuel leak. In absence of obvious dripping fuel any suggestions on how to find fuel line leak? The brown/dead areas of yard are mostly where the left side of the tractor travels(that's where the fuel filter is) and typically it damaged the grass when I was in process of turning or where I was driving across a slope (nothing steep enough to require ROP Bar. Plan is to start it up on concrete and drive it up on one sided ramps (at a time) and see if anything drips. Service says there's not enough grease in a deck to damage a whole yard.

Quite possibly the fuel leaked onto the mower deck and then ran off the deck when you made your turns. Leak could be anywhere ABOVE the mower deck.
Lay a flat piece of carboard ontop of deck and go around the yard. Hopefully the if you look above the center of the stain on the cardboard, you will find your leak. Is your fuel tank located top rear hood? the line from tank could be the culprit. ....

Do the dead spots coincide with the wheel tracks?

If you are mowing in 4wd or with the differential lock engaged, you could be ripping the grass up by the roots on tight turns. ....

Bingo. There are a few slopes in the yard that I can't negotiate without 4 wheel drive (I use turf tires). Yes, I did have the differental lock engaged (I forgot to disengage after I needed it sometimes) and the dead, curved tracks are the width of the front tires. Learned something new. It's deep rooted grass, we've had a lot of rain lately and cool weather, it's beginning to grow back. Many thanks. ....
